The second entry for the “GRMRB2011” (wow, even then it was a mouthful!) It turned out better than expected. I was having trouble coming up with ideas at first…and then it just all came together at the last moment. More time wouldn’t have been a bad thing, though. This genre was fun to tackle… It’s just…so chill. Ha. Hope you like!

My entry for “The Grand Robot Master Remix Battle 2011” (wow, that was a mouthful). Honestly, I can’t believe I made this in three days. Hmmm. I think I should start giving myself tighter deadlines… But yeah, this turned out alright. It’s got some personality to it. I feel I jumped from Castlevania to Donkey Kong Country to Kirby to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike to Chrono Trigger.

This thing’s finished, at last! It has taken me about three weeks to do so, but it has been a very fun adventure, none the less. I’ve learned a lot about producing music, equalization, mastering, among other things. Really helped me grow as a musician. So, to me, it’s much more than just a remix for a contest—it’s a step forward in my musical career/path/whatever you wanna call it. Not only this, but it has made me realize how fun it can be to make trance music. I’m not particularly into the genre, but wow, it was a blast!
